Jangiri

Ingredients:
          Whole urad dhal or Uzhundu - 3/4 cup
           Rice flour - 1 tsp(optional)
          Orange color
          Salt
          Oil
For syrup:
          Sugar - 3/4 cup
          Water - just to cover the sugar
          Lemon juice- few drops
          Rose essence
Method:







          Soak the dhal in water for 2 hours. Grind the dhal as a fine paste , add water little by little. Mix the color and salt into a batter make it as pluffy patter. In a pan add sugar and pour the water, add color make a sugar syrup. Just like 1/2 drop consistency. Turn off the stove add essence and lemon drops. In other broad pan take oil and heat,just in a medium heat. Now have ziploc bag ,in a corner or center make asmall hole,put one big scoop of batter in to a cover and make a cone shape. If you want you can try one jangiri in a dry plate. Then start to do jangiri in a hot oil,let it cook slowely in a medium heat. After that put the cooked jangiri into a sugar syrup , let it for 2 minitues. jangiri is ready.
