Ingredients:
All pupose flour (maida) - 1 cup
Eggs - 2
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Orange juice - 3/4 cup
Cocoa powder - 3 tbsp
Walnuts - 1/2 cup (chopped)
Dry grapes or raisins - 1/2 cup
(if we want we can add cashew,tutti fruitti, chopped dates or chopped figs too)
Butter - 1/2 cup
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 2 tsp ( 3cardamom , 4 cloves, 1 stick cinnamon ) powdered
Vannila essence - 2 tsp
Orange zest - 3 tbsp
Method:
First sieve the flour and baking soda.
Second mix the cocoa powder,gram masala and orange juice.
Third dust 1 tbsp flour over the nuts and grapes and mix well ,because it helps to avoid the fruits and nuts stayed under the cake.
Fourth take one tsp of butter and spread over the baking pan and spread dry flour over the butter spreading , now the baking pan is ready.
Fifth preheat the oven with 375 F
Sixth beat the butter and sugar well. Then add the eggs in this mixture.Then .add mixture of cocoa and juice . Add vannila essence. Mix well , now add the flour mixture, mix it slowly. Then put the fruit and nut mixture into the cake cake mix , stir the mix with the help of wooden spoon. Then sift the cake mixture to the cake pan , which is already prepared. Bake it for 45 to 55 minitues. After that chek the cake with the help of toothpik , wether it is cooked or not. Take the cake out let it cool . After it cooled cut the cake into pieces.
