Ginger/allam chutney

Ingredients:
         Ginger - 1/4 cup (chopped)
         Channa dhal / kadalai paruppu - 2 tbsp
         Urad dhal / ulundam paruppu - 2 tbsp
         Red chilies - 5
         Tamarind / puli - small cherry size
         Jaggery/vellam - 2 tbsp
         Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
         oil
           

Method :
        In a pan add oil, let it heat. Now add urad dhal and channa dhal, fry till it get golden brown color. Add red chilies,ginger and tamarind, mix well. Let it cool. Grind all the fried items along with jaggery and salt. Give tempering with mustard seeds in oil,on top of the chutney.  Serve the chutney with pesarattu.
