Idly Podi

Ingredients:
          Black gram dhal or Urad dhal - 1 cup
          Bengal gram dhal or split channa dhal - 1/2 cup
          Dried red chillies - 15 to 20
          Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
          Curry leaves - 1 hand full (add more if you want)
          Garlic cloves - 3
          Salt - as you need
  
Method:

             In a wok add the urad dhal and channa dhal , fry. When the color start to change add chillies , curry leaves and garlic. Fry well untill it turns to light brown color. Now the time to add asafoetida. Let them cool , then add salt . Grind as a fine powder. Serve with dosa and idly. When we making dosa , just sprinkle the podi on the top of the dosa  , then add 1 tsp of oil. Tasty podi dosa is ready.
