Badusha

Ingredients:
           All purpose flour/maida - 1 1/2 cup
           Sugar - 2 tsp
           Baking soda - 3 pinches
           Curd - 4 tsp
           Butter and oil - 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp
           Water
           Oil for frying

For sugar syrup:
            Sugar - 1 1/4 cup
            Water - just to immerse the sugar
            Lemon juice - 2 tsp

Method:
             In a bowl add curd,baking soda,sugar and oil. Mix with whisk. Then add flour,and little water,mix the dough. Let it be for 15 minutes. Take a small ball from that and roll with hands and give a press in the center of the dough. Don't push the dough while rolling. Heat the oil in a pan with medium flame. Fry them till it reach the brown color. In other pan add sugar and water, make a syrup with one string consistency. Squeeze the lemon juice on the top and mix well. Add 2 tsp of ghee into the syrup,so that we can get nice flavor. Take the fried badusha directly from oil and add into a syrup. Gently press each badusha into the sugar syrup.Let it soak till the other patch will cook. Then take the soaked one from syrup and put in the tray, let it cool. If we want we can decorate with crushed nut,saffron,dry coconut etc.
