Ingredients:
Raw rice / Passarisi - 1 cup
Ulundham paruppu / urad dhal - 1/4 cup
Sesame seeds - 1 1/2 tbsp
Butter - 1 tbsp
Salt
Oil
Method:
Wash the rice and make it dry under the fan or sun.
Fry the urad dhal in dry pan till its gets golden brown color.
If you are grinding in flour mill, put together the rice and dhal.
If you are grinding with mixee, put fried urad dhal make fine powder
and sift the flour. Mix with raw rice flour with urad dhal and make murukku.
In a flour mixture add melted butter,sesame seeds,salt, mix water and make
a soft dough. Take small amount of dough, put inside of the murukku press
and start making murukku on the back side of the ladle.
Heat the oil in a broad pan. Once oil get heat put the murukku from the ladle
into the oil and fry with the medium flame. When murukku starts to floating,
take it out.
Yummy murukku is ready.
