Ingredients:
Kaalan/Mushroom - 1 packet (wash well and finely chopped)
Cabbage - 2 cups (washed and chopped finely)
Onion - 1/2 (chopped)
Tomato - 2 medium size
Ginger - 1 inch size
Garlic - 5 cloves
Cinnamon - 1/2 inch size
Cardamom - 3
Cloves - 4
All purpose flour/Maida - 1 cup
Corn flour - 1/4 cup
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Salt
Oil
For garnish - chopped onion, coriander leaves and lemon
Method :
In a big bowl add chopped mushroom and cabbage, in this add all purpose flour, corn flour, pepper powder and salt, mix well. Heat the oil in a pan, take small ball from mushroom and cabbage mixture and fry them until it gets brown color. After finish frying all of them keep aside. In a mixture jar take tomato, ginger, garlic, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, chili powder, coriander powder and salt, grind them like a paste. In a pan add 5 to 6 tbsp of oil, I used the oil what I used to fry the mushroom. In this add the chopped onion and green chili, saute well, now add the masala paste, mix well. In a small cup take 2 tsp of corn flour add water mix well, pour the mixture into the pan, now the gravy will become thick, in this add the fried mushroom and mix well. Now the street style mushroom is ready to serve. Take some into the small bowl, add chopped coriander leaves and onions on the top and squeeze lemon.
