Pori/Puffed rice/Murmura Upma

Ingredients:

    Pori/puffed rice - 4 cups

    Onion - 1/2 (chopped)

    Bell pepper - 1/2 (chopped)

    Carrot - 1/2 (chopped)

    Ginger - 1 inch (chopped)

    Green chilies - 2 (chopped)

    Chopped Coriander leaves 

    Few curry leaves

    Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

    Urad dhal/black gram dhal - 1 tsp

    Channa dhal/Bengal gram dhal - 1 tsp

    Lemon - 1/2

    Idly podi - 2 tsp

    Salt

   Oil

Method:

     In a bowl take 4 cups of pori, wash it 2 times and squeeze water, keep it aside. Heat the pan add oil, next add mustard seeds,urad dhal and channa dhal. Once mustard seeds splutter, add chopped onion, bell pepper, curry leaves and green chilies, saute well. Now add the squeezed pori and salt mix well. Finally add idly podi, lemon juice and coriander leaves, mix well. Ready to serve.
