Fish puttu or Fish podimas

Ingredients:
 
       Boneless skinless fish fillets -  4 ( I used salmon )
       Onion finely chopped - 1
       Garlic cloves - 5 pieces crushed or finely chopped
       Green chillies halved - 4
       Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
       Coriander leaves - 1/4 bunch
       Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
       Black gram dhal or urad dhal - 1 tsp
       salt
       oil

Method:

       Wash and cook the fish fillets with turmeric powder and little salt. Then crush the fillets.Put pan on the stove add oil , let mustard to splutter. Add urad dhal. Let it fry , add chopped onion,green chilly and garlic. Fry well , then add the fish,turmeric powder and salt. Mix well. Let it cook on slow flame for 15 minutes.When the raw smell of fish gone add coriander leaves and mix. Serve with sambhar rice or rice with fish kuzhambu. Very yummy and easy.
