Ingredients :
Kadalai mavu or gram flour - 1 cup
Arisi mavu or Rice flour - 1/2 cup
Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
Yellow peper or bajji milagai - 6
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Baking soda - 2 pinch or 1/2 tsp
Salt
Oil
Method :
Slit the chilly with scissor . Remove the seeds. In a bowl take the flour, asafoetida,chilly powder, baking soda and salt. Add water and mix it like dosa batter. In a pan heat the oil. Dip the chilly one by one into the batter and fry into the oil, in medium fire. Let it cook till it change as brown in color. Then remove it from oil and put it over the tissue,it absorb the excess oil. Serve with coconut chutney or sweet tamarind chutney. Tastes yummy.
