Ingredients :
Mutton or lamb with bone - 1 lb
Onion - 1 chopped
Tomato chopped - 1
Ginger - 2 inches (crushed)
Garlic - 7 cloves (crushed)
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Water from cooked toor dhal or thuvaram paruppu - 1/2 cup
Pepper - 1 tsp (crushed)
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp (crushed)
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Kuzhmbu podi - 1/2 tsp
Salt
Method :
Wash the mutton,add in to a cooker plate.Then add chopped onion, tomato, garlic, ginger, pepper, cumin, turmeric, curry leaves and kuzhambu podi. Put cooker plate into the cooker,let it cook for 5 whistles. After cooker cool down, take the plate out and separate the soup from mutton and add little water from cooked toor dhal or thuvaram paruppu. Serve hot with salt and pepper. Yummy soup is ready. Keep the bones and mutton pieces for mutton fry and elunbu sambhar . Recipe is coming for both.
