Bread bajji

Ingredients:
         Bread slices - 4 (cut into small pieces)
         Kadalai mavu/chick pea flour - 1 cup
         Arisi mavu/rice flour - 3/4 cup
         Baking soda/soda mavu - 3 pinches
         Chilly powder - as per taste
         Perungayam/asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
         Oil - 1tsp (for batter)
         Salt
         Oil for deep frying
         Water
Method:
          In a bowl, add all the dry ingredients and 1 tsp of oil. Mix well with the whisk or hand. Add water little by little till  dosa batter consistency. Heat oil for deep frying. Dip the bread slice into the batter and fry. Remove from the oil, once it turn to light brown color. We can use other vegetables like califlower,onion,bell pepper,plantain,potato,brinjal even raw pappad (small piece of appalam) for making bajji.
