This recipe is from Karnataka. I learned it from my friend Sheela. I always love to eat with chapathi, idly and dosa. It is very easy to make.

Green chilies - 2 to 3 ( chopped )
Sambhar podi/ Kuzhambu podi - 1 tsp

Method:
In a pan add oil, once it gets hot add mustard seeds, let it splutter, add channa dhal. Fry them, add tomatoes, curry leaves, green chilies, sambhar powder, and salt and mix well. Add little water. Close with lid and cook till it gets thick. Serve with idly or chapathi.
